A flood warning should not cost you your privacy. This app has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics trail, and the short version of this policy is that we hold almost nothing about you — because we deliberately never ask for it.
Hindi dapat ipagpalit ang iyong pagkapribado para sa babala sa baha. Walang account, walang ads, at walang analytics trail ang app na ito. Ang maikling bersyon: halos wala kaming hawak tungkol sa iyo — dahil sadyang hindi namin ito hinihingi.
There is no login, and there never will be. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any social account. There is no password to reset because there is no account. A sign-up form between a person and a flood warning is a design failure.
Walang login, at hindi magkakaroon. Hindi namin hinihingi ang iyong pangalan, email, numero ng telepono o anumang social account. Walang password na ire-reset dahil walang account. Ang sign-up form sa pagitan ng tao at ng babala sa baha ay isang pagkakamali sa disenyo.

What we deliberately do not collect
Ano ang sadyang hindi namin kinokolekta
- No name, email, phone number or social login. Walang pangalan, email, numero, o social login.
- No location history. Your pin is a single current point, not a trail. We do not track where you go. Walang kasaysayan ng lokasyon. Isang kasalukuyang punto lang ang pin mo, hindi isang landas. Hindi namin sinusubaybayan kung saan ka pumupunta.
- No advertising identifiers, ad networks or trackers. Walang advertising identifier, ad network, o tracker.
- No behavioural analytics, and no profile built from your use of the app. Walang behavioural analytics, at walang profile na binubuo mula sa paggamit mo.
- No contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise background location. Walang contacts, litrato, mikropono, camera, o tumpak na background location.
- Nothing is sold or shared with data brokers. Ever. Walang ibinebenta o ibinabahagi sa data broker. Kailanman.
Who else touches it

Delivering a notification means handing it to the platform that owns your phone. There is no way around that:

- Apple (APNs) and Google (FCM) — they deliver the notification to your device. Apple (APNs) at Google (FCM) — sila ang naghahatid ng notification sa device mo.
- Expo — passes the notification to Apple and Google on our behalf. Expo — ipinapasa ang notification sa Apple at Google para sa amin.
- Amazon Web Services — hosting. Data is stored in the Singapore region, not in the Philippines. That is a cross-border transfer and we would rather say so plainly than bury it. Amazon Web Services — hosting. Nasa rehiyon ng Singapore ang datos, hindi sa Pilipinas. Isa itong cross-border transfer at mas gusto naming sabihin ito nang malinaw kaysa itago.
Government readings — river levels, dam bulletins — are public data published by PAGASA and the Office of Civil Defense. We archive them unchanged so any warning can be traced to its source. They contain nothing about you.

How long it is kept, and how to erase it
Gaano katagal itinatago, at paano burahin
Delete the app and your pins are gone. Because identity is stored on your phone and nowhere else, uninstalling removes the only key linking you to the saved location — we cannot recover it, and neither can anybody else. That is the trade for not holding accounts, and we think it is the right one.
I-delete ang app at mawawala ang mga pin mo. Dahil nasa telepono mo lang nakaimbak ang pagkakakilanlan, ang pag-uninstall ang nag-aalis ng tanging susi na nag-uugnay sa iyo sa naka-save na lokasyon — hindi namin ito maibabalik, at wala ring iba. Delivery records are kept while the service needs them to avoid sending you the same warning twice, and to answer questions about a past flood. If you want your device record deleted outright, get in touch and we will remove it.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects nothing that would identify one. A flood warning is useful to anybody in its path, and we do not ask anyone their age.
Hindi nakatuon sa mga bata ang app at wala itong kinokolektang makakakilala sa kanila. Kapaki-pakinabang ang babala sa baha para sa sinumang nasa daanan nito, at hindi namin tinatanong ang edad ninuman.
Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) you may ask what we hold about your device, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Because we hold so little, most of these questions have a short answer — but ask, and you will get it. You will need the device ID, which the app shows on its About screen.
Sa ilalim ng Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), puwede mong itanong kung ano ang hawak namin tungkol sa device mo, hilinging itama ito, o hilinging burahin. Dahil napakakaunti ng hawak namin, maikli ang sagot sa karamihan ng tanong — pero magtanong ka at sasagutin ka namin. Kakailanganin mo ang device ID, na makikita sa About screen ng app.
This is not an official warning service. Manila Flood Monitor is an experimental project. It is not operated by PAGASA, the NDRRMC, the MMDA or any local government unit. It can be wrong, late or silent. Always check the official channels and follow the instructions of your barangay and your LGU.
Hindi ito opisyal na serbisyo ng babala. Ang Manila Flood Monitor ay eksperimentong proyekto. Hindi ito pinapatakbo ng PAGASA, NDRRMC, MMDA, o ng anumang lokal na pamahalaan. Changes to this policy

If what we collect ever changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We will not quietly start collecting something new.
Kung magbago ang kinokolekta namin, magbabago rin ang pahinang ito at ang petsa sa itaas. Hindi kami tahimik na magsisimulang mangolekta ng bago.
